Seeing this image in multiple variations I honestly thought that people were manipulating the photo. When I arrived at the spot I was amazed to see that the tree does actually look like this. The colors changed with fog, direct sunlight, and throughout the day. I have never seen this many colors on a tree before anywhere I have traveled.  The conditions were perfect on the multiple days of shooting. Two days later, all the leaves were gone. I was fortunate to catch the tree in its peak.
